Amelia Presley asked fans if she should release two songs that are currently unavailable for download or streaming. She explained via instagram, "I have two songs that I recorded in 2013. They are very very very much so that swampy country that was my entire first album, No Pony Ride. That was the time and place that I was in then. That was who I was artistically then." She continued, "One of the songs is called Get Lucky. I actually did release that song years ago. It ended up on Hot Tracks on iTunes". She then explained how she had left the label she was under and was able to get her song back, but that she had not re-released it since then. "I have another [song] called Empty Case that has never been released", Presley said of the second unreleased song. The only thing holding her back with releasing the two songs is that "They are very reflective of a time and place that [she] was that. That was [her] sound [during that time]". The songs will be a little different than what Presley currently performs, but they are very similar to the style that fans first heard in her first album.
Some of the responses from fans were:
"At least one song, something to get us through until harm nobody else is released." - @googs_ak

"Girl you know how I feel about your vocals, and it’s a swampy country blues feel, I can’t wait!! I could be wrong but that’s the stuff people are liking these days, songs with that country/blues groove! I know I’m waiting." - @allencampbell1965

Presley also conducted a poll in which fans voted for her to release the songs. So, a few days later, she announced on Instagram that she would be releasing them. "Get Lucky" will be released on May 1, and "Empty Case" will be released on May 8.
Both songs were produced by Ken Royster at Direct Image Studio, Nashville, Tennessee.
